Michelle Harvey
PROGRAM DIRECTOR
Michelle joined The Pool & Spa Apprenticeship and Training Committee as Program Director in June of 2022. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Sacramento State University and has a background in governance and program coordination from her seven years working at the California Optometric Association. She has also worked as a third-party Liability Adjuster at State Farm Insurance before she made the switch to become a stay-at-home mom when her children were little. Since then, she has become well-versed in the pool and spa service industry thanks to her multiple years working as the Project Associate & IPSSAN Editor for The Independent Pool and Spa Service Association (IPSSA).
Michelle is excited to be spearheading the coordination of The PSATC Program to reach the shared goal of getting every apprentice in our program Certified in the State of California and growing the program nationally.

MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS
More than 25 years of leadership at executive and corporate levels of strategic communications, media relations, government affairs, policy development and implementation, speechwriting, internal and external communications, website/social media management, and stakeholder and grassroots outreach and marketing. Dan is proud to be a member of the PSATC team building from the ground up an amazing program that will bring the value of apprenticeship to employers and the students they enroll in the Pool and Spa Apprenticeship Program.
